Victoria Rose-Piper is working as a research assistant on the FEIW project based at the University of Wales in Aberystwyth. Since graduating with a first class honors degree in Business Economics in 2000 from the School of Management and Business at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth she has worked at Corus, previously British Steel, as a purchasing manager.

 

Victoria joined Corus' graduate management scheme and started in the supplies function working in their quality assurance, contracts implementation and electrical spares departments. In 2002, Victoria re-located to Corus in Shotton where she worked on developing a new business, Corus Living Solutions, which manufactures steel-framed buildings. She worked as a section manager for purchasing, implementing policies and procedures and assisting in the adoption of a new IT system before handing all procurement activity back to the central purchasing hub early in 2006.
