This project was set up in order to achieve a number of objectives as outlined below: 
The objectives of this program include the following:
- To create an environment that will:-
- Increase the economic well being of individuals and families within the respective regions
- Reduce the number of graduates leaving the regions
- Increase the level of business ownership and management opportunities for women in the regions
- Increase the level of participation of women in high-value add industry sectors in both regions
- Develop strong cross border networks between Ireland and Wales for women-led businesses
- Develop strong cross border networks between Ireland and Wales for academics teaching and researching women in business
- To set up an inter-regional education process for women business owners in Ireland and Wales enabling women to learn from each others’ experiences
- Identify the constraints to the development of women-led businesses in Ireland and Wales and develop an appropriate programme to alleviate these constraints
- To design a modular training programme for women in the field of entrepreneurship
- To increase the level of and maximise the use of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) in women oriented enterprise programmes.
- To deliver a training programme on a pilot basis in both regions and evaluate the results of the programme.

- To develop sustainable education programmes that will continue to increase the level of women-led businesses and wealth creation in both South East Ireland and South West Wales
